Because it’s one complete piece, with no joints, seams or screw holes… The insulation R value, is over 10. The 1 inch of foam is your insulation value and your water proofing, providing superior protection against environmental elements. We then coat the foam with white Elastomeric coating. The white coating simply protects your foam from the sun. We put enough coating on to last five years. After five years, you still have a beautiful foam roof. If you re-coat the roof with just the Elastomeric coating, we will issue you a new five-year warranty.
